Derrick - where have you been?? j/k
Dennis - it was nice meeting you as well - hopefully we'll get to hang out again this summer.
Sue - you participate plenty on twitter. The cool thing about twitter, facebook, etc. is that YOU choose how you are going to use it. They still work if you only use once a week or even once a month.

Carolyn,
I just noticed this post, "where have I been" :-) Even though I do not personally know most of my Twitter / REW friends I can say one thing - I have learned a ton from them anyway. It seemed odd to me at first to be social with so many you don’t know but in many ways you come to know them over time and posts which is pretty cool! You're right, I think you were my first friend on Twitter as well as Facebook; pretty sure you’re who lead me to both - thanks and thanks for all your advice over the past several months and the rest of my social buddies & the gang at REW.

I don't participate on Twitter as much as I'd like to, but I do like it especially that its real time. Of course, I like REW alot too and most of my friends on Twitter are from REW and have taught me so much.

Hey Carolyn, since you brought this up, I just wanted to say I truly enjoyed meeting you and hanging out a little at the REW Summit 08. That was a great time to meet so many people in person, many I have known for years online.

Hey Kevin, great question, because it isn't an automatic answer for me but it comes down to only two choices, Facebook and Twitter. There are things I really like about Facebook and it's a different sort of community, but I think personally I get more out of twitter. It's the interaction between people as well as sharing sometimes really great information. It's like picking up snippets of conversations that if I'm not careful can lead me into many different directions.

Oh, and I could probably write about my friends all day long - that really isn't hard - just not sure how engaging the blog would be after a while.

Having some common ground with you on this one, this was a brilliant one, Carolyn. The ability to paint such a vivid picture of all the brilliant ones above with just a couple sentences, is an art...well done.

Question(s) back to you (or anyone) --
If you could only choose ONE social networking platform, which one would it be? I think I know your answer, Carolyn - but just interested. Let's leave forums out - but let's include all social bookmarking sites too. So From Twitter, to Facebook, to Stumble, to Facebook, to Digg, to Mixx, to Puurple...which one? And why (grin)? Did that make sense?
