Real Estate Webmasters
I tell everyone that nearly all I know about building a real estate business
online I’ve learned at the Real Estate Webmasters forum. But more important than what I’ve learned is the friendships I’ve made. In reality, there are not a lot of people in the real estate industry that are focused on building an internet based real estate practice in the same way.
Some of the reasons REW is such a great place include the information, not only on how to be found in the search engines, but ideas on lead generation, blogging, creating content, general real estate issues, web site review. There is also a lot of information on traditional marketing as well. Basically more than enough information for any agent to be successful in any market.
Beyond the forum though is the community – I’ve made great friends through the forum and the REW Summit that was held in Nanaimo last year. People that will go out of there way to help me and others no matter how busy their schedule might be.
Currently Real Estate Webmasters is holding a referral contest, it’s not about buying any of their products or services but about signing up to be part of the community. With the changes going on at some of the other real estate social networking sites – maybe now is a good time to check out REW. If you take the time to read through some of the information and get to know the people you will not regret for a moment any time you spend there.

This is more about becoming a part of the community though and not really a sales pitch. If you are looking for a website solution though – you can not go wrong with a Real Estate Webmasters site.

Nice post Carolyn. Do you get called frequently from prospective REW website buyers? I do. I am happy to refer those guys business. They have been very good to me. I’ve talked to a few people in my office about getting a site with them but none of them want to put in the work to get it ranking. I guess that mentality is good for those of us who do rank well.
I could not agreed with you more. The people and knowledge on REW is amazing I have been a member for a month, but have learn more from that forum during that short time than search the web for years. Also the members are so nice, I have ask questions and was expecting a short reply, but when I went to check my private message. The REW member had sent me a 500 words explanation detailing step by step on what I need to do. I can even find that kind of help in my own office.
It is a great community. I have spent alot of money with them. There website have also produce some good leads.
WOW! I just checked REW out for the first time. There is a massive amount of information available to help us out in our real estate businesses. Thanks for the great information.
Morgan (REW) have create a good and friendly forum together with the moderators; SEO Nick, Judyo, Eric, RESteve and some more very good and helpful people. You always get good answer on your questions. If you not are a member – be a member today.
Did anything ever happen with this contest? Is it still going on?
I couldn’t agree more with everyone here that has posted. I’ve learned a great deal about web marketing and websites from the forums. The one thing that I’m most excited about is the amount of traffic to my site. REW is awesome!
Good question, Scott. I don’t recall seeing winners getting announced. (Albeit the contest didn’t go over probably as well as had been expected.)

Yes, they do create awesome websites that seem to rank really well!
